A lot of people realize that you can find materials needed to create the perfect retail package. Depending on the category and scope, some of those packaging materials can include chipboard folding cartons corrugated master cartons, flexible film, blister pack packaging, skin cards, printed graphic cards, chipboard or corrugated counter displays and full pallet POP displays. Many consumer packaged goods companies depend on strategic vendors to greatly help design and support their retail project through the supply these packaging materials to ensure that their product will soon be successfully displayed at the retail level. That is called CONTRACT PACKAGING.

Sometimes the end-of-line services of packaging an item is performed internally because of line set-ups, difficulty of movement to the surface, stringent manufacturing requirements, environmental considerations, government regulations and more. But also for retail products and services which are manufactured either in america or off-shore, most organizations have come to depend on outside Contract Packaging Companies do this the last packaging work with them. Even though the term Contract Packaging relates to any 3rd party who supplies the final packaging and assembly services, there are numerous kinds of contract packagers who may either serve specific industries or provide specific capabilities predicated on certifications, space and equipment.
